H+F Collection

NL The H+F Collection is the collection of contemporary art owned by Han Nefkens. It consists of photographs, videos, installations and paintings by Jeff Wall, Sam Taylor-Wood, Bill Viola, Shirin Neshat, Felix Gonzalez-Torres and others. Nefkens gives the works on long-term loan to museums in the Netherlands and abroad, including the Centraal Museum in Utrecht, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, Huis Marseille in Amsterdam and the FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais in Dunkirk. Travelling exhibitions in several European museums are also made up of works from the H+F Collection.

TH HIV-NAT in Bangkok is ArtAids’ main beneficiary. The HIV Netherlands Australia Thailand Research Collaboration, founded in Bangkok in 1996, runs an HIV/Aids research and treatment centre under the auspices of the Thai Red Cross. An important goal of HIV-NAT is not only to simplify the strategy for antiretroviral treatment and to find the appropriate dosage for Thai people but also to treat those infected with HIV who would otherwise have no access to such assistance.

UNAIDS is the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/Aids. Its headquarters in Geneva houses the ART for AIDS Collection. ArtAids has contributed to the collection through the long-term loan of a specially commissioned work by Leo Copers. CH
