Han Nefkens started to collect art in 2000. The H+F Collection, named after himself and his partner Felipe, is in long-term loan to various museums in The Netherlands and abroad. Nowadays Han Nefkens is not only active as a collector but also as an initiator of international art projects, often in collaboration with museums and other art institutions.

Centraal Museum
The Centraal Museum is the museum of the city of Utrecht. The museum was the first to receive a major long-term loan from Han Nefkens’ H+F Collection. Han Nefkens also collaborates with the museum through H+F Fashion on the Edge, an initiative intended to collect works created at the boundary between art and fashion. In 2008-2009, the Centraal Museum is one of the two venues to present ArtAIds’ Cover project.
